We all love eating on the basis of taste, textures, or our preferences, but we often forget to see the harm which that food is doing to us. Solid fats are considered to be the unhealthiest form of fats. Solid fats include animal fats, milk fats, coconut oil, palm oils and butter or ghee. These fats are most absorbed while cooking and mostly used in Chinese and Italian dishes. These fats possess high caloric value and thus they make cholesterol levels and fat level of our body increase.

White Rice

White rice lacks some nutrients that brown rice is enriched with. Therefore for balanced rice one should consume a mixture of brown and white rice. Excess consumption of white rice can increase body cholesterol levels.

Consumption of processed / preserved salami, sausages, goat meat and sandwich meats can be hazardous for health as they use preservatives in them for making it look red in color and fresh. Use fresh meats to avoid health problems like heart strokes or cancer caused by preservatives.

Sugar

Consumption of sugar to an extent is good for health but consuming goods like canned juices, soda, diet coke etc. also contains sugar which adds extra sugar than you should ideally consume. Finally, you end up consuming extra sugar which leads to increase in calories.

Protein bars looks a healthy choice to chunk energy but actually they consist of hard core protein, sugar, vitamins and fats. They usually seem to be a meal replacement to us but they end up adding much more caloric value than a proper meal would have.
