Authentic Thai Veg in Red Curry


Thailand is one of the wonderful tourist places in South East Asia which is not only famous for its exotic beaches and road side shopping but also famous for mouthwatering delicacies. Thai food comprises of mixed flavors and textures like salty, sweet, crispy, and sour can be tasted in many restaurants in urban cities now-a days but if you like to taste the authentic Thai cuisine this is the recipe for you;” Thai veg in red curry”.

Here is a recipe which introduces you to the authentic Thai cuisine.

Serving measure- 4 people

What you need      

½ cup sliced mushroom

5-6 baby corn cut lengthwise

2-3 sliced brinjals

100 gm. Chopped French beans

1 medium broccoli

2 small sliced carrots

1tsp olive oil

1 tbsp. soya sauce

1 tbsp sugar

&1tbsp vinegar

For Red Curry

Take 5 – 6 red chilies, 1 chopped onion (medium sized), 8 garlic flakes, 2 to3 basil leaves, ½ tsp curry powder add salt & black paper to taste.

In a blender grind all these ingredients together and make very fine paste.

How to make

1: Boil all chopped vegetables in 1 ½ cups of water for 5 -8 minutes .Stir in between checking until 70% cooked.

2: Take oil in a pan, add red curry paste in it &stir it continuously for 2 to 4 minutes. No lumps should be formed.

3: Add all the boiled vegetables, soya sauce, salt & sugar together and cook it for another 5 minutes.

Once it is done allow it to stand for 5 minutes.

Your delicious and authentic Thai veg in red curry is ready to serve. It tastes amazing if complemented with fried rice or noodles. This recipe is suitable for health conscious people also as it roughly contain 130 calories. Now that’s what I call a healthy meal which gives my taste buds pleasure and international flavor.
