What You Will Need

Sand paper

Damp rags

Painters tape

Drop cloth


2 Paint rollers


2 or 3 inches paint brush

Roller pad

Steps To Paint A Wall

Clear the walls

If you are painting a new and never painted wall use the sand paper to clear the wall and wipe the remaining with damp rag.

Cover what you don’t want to get spoiled

Cover the switch boards, door frames with painters tape and the floor with a drop cloth, so that you don’t spoil or paint the floor.

Apply Primer

Apply a thick coat of primer that will cover the entire imbalance your wall has. This will give the paint a smooth finish.

Select the colour to paint

Select any colour you would like to have on your walls and start painting the corners with the brush. Once you have painted all the corners start painting the walls.

Tip ; The best way to paint is to make a “W” shape and start painting it in a square.

Take the colour on the roller pad and continue painting on vertical strokes.

Second coat

Once the first coat is dries completely in about 3 hours, you can paint it again but this time. You need to paint it giving more finishing.
