Spain is most famous about its architecture, which is like a cherry on the cake for its scenic beauty. It is said that the first setters on the Peninsula were the Celts and the Iberians. During the 3rd century A.D commercial and cultural contact with high Mediterranean civilisations was held with the Phoenicians and Greeks, which were taken over by Romans ,  though they lasted for seven centuries , many of their cultures like concept of family, Latin as a language , religion and law, architecture  reflects in the culture of Spain.

You can see a glimpse of the Austrian, Cantabrian and the Muslim cultures also and this is why the country is rich of cultures and heritage.

The capital

The lovely city Madrid brings for you  a wide and exquisite range of entertainment and tourism which includes golf courses, tempting shopping malls , historic monuments , leisure parks and gardens and lots more exciting travels.

The city offers you- the royal observatory museum, Prado museum which is largest in the world, Royal Armoury museum for weapons, the city museum, the Debod temple, The Buen Retiro park,  the Teatro real theater built in 1817, Toledo bridge, Plaza mayor square and many more exciting places to visit.

Other cities

Besides the capital there are other cities like Barcelona, Bilbao, Vlencia, Seville, Ganada, Cordoba, Zaragoza, Santiago de Compostela and Salamanca where you can dig in to.

Destinations to visit

Costa Brava, Costa Blanca, Costa Dorada, Costa del Sol, Canary Islands, Majorca, Ibiza, Minorca, Formentera, Pyrenees, Green Spain  are a few more destinations that you can explore here.

These are major tourist attractions because of their ambience and beauty that you can feel on the sea side villages, the beaches lined by pine groves is surely a treat to keep an eye on, the leafy valleys and picturesque centuries-old towns and villages are worth spending time here.

Climate

The weather here is quite warm being one of the warmest countries of Europe. It has a predominantly warm climate with dry summers and winters with balanced temperature.

When night falls it is the best time to discover Spain’s monuments and cities and you can experience the fizzing view.

Local travelling

Public transport is very good in Spanish cities, mostly used are bus and railway services .Driving can also be a good option if you wish to travel across. There are metro lines also, which shows the route with maps that you get a know how about the city.
